Author Matthew Gregory is by profession, the Chief of Police for the Buckhannon, West Virginia Police Department.
His background includes a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Fairmont State University and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Marshall University. In addition to his police duties, Matthew also serves as adjunct faculty for Fairmont State University where he teaches a variety of Criminal Justice courses. Matthew makes his home in Buckhannon,
West Virginia with his wife, Holly, and their two children, Patrick and Josh.

During his time off, he enjoys spending time with his family.
